FOWC with Fandango — Impose

FOWCWelcome to November 17, 2018 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.

I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).

Today’s word is “impose.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Or you can simply include a link to your post in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.

It took me a while to finish this piece, which I started HOURS ago because I was trying to somehow or other figure out how to block this new application. You know, if it were designed for complex websites — real business — MAYBE it would make sense. But seriously, for 500 word post and a pictures? A bit of overkill maybe? Anyway, they did fix me. I was actually seriously considering giving up. there were SO many bugs it was scary and most of these bugs affected people like me who have been on for a long time and have a large data base both for graphics and posts. When they completely change the formatting, not only the new stuff is different, but none of the OLD stuff will come out right either.

And they really really need to get it together with testing applications before dumping them on the general population! Anyway, remarkably, the DID fix me. But it took a few hours.

There’s a large company based where I live that I happen to know is hit and miss in fixing their software or their coding (however that is supposed too be termed for business in an ongoing support sense). Their claim to fame is their digitizing for a particular sector.

… supposed to be termed ….

Why oh why does autocorrect always make “to” into “too”?!

So far I haven’t had to switch from the classic to the new one, but I keep getting reminders to try the “new and improved” editor.

I did try it, hated it, and went back to classic mode; I am only hoping it will not become the only option!

I’ll keep my “eyes open” in case I see any options.

I tried it and my picture which is normally behind my title had to be added separately (unless I need training – lol) and it didn’t produce what I wanted, so I went back.
