A Matter of Trust

“I think I’ve got a solution to help you overcome you general feelings of mistrust,” Paul said. “I went to a Ted Talk last year. It was all about how to surmount all of your insecurities and to inspire you to achieve greater success in life.”

“I don’t know, Jack,” Paul said. “I don’t think watching some motivational guru give some enthralling speech on cable TV will help me get over my sense of mistrust in this day and age.”

“Hey,” Jack said, “I’m your best friend and you don’t even trust me?”

“It’s not you, Jack,” Paul said. “It’s me every time I visualize Donald Trump sitting on his gold-plated, resplendent toilet at four in the morning tweeting out yet another lie and typing in the words, ‘believe me’ that freaks me out.”317FE5DA-E7E6-42FC-BFCB-F2D4B1223202
