Our Proud Cat

Black CatWe have a cat
A black cat
A black cat with yellow eyes
He’s an indoor cat

We live in the city
We have a small backyard
With a privacy fence all around
Our neighbors store their trash bins next to our fence

We sometimes let our cat out in our backyard
Our cat is a hunter
He quietly and patiently waits by the fence
Where there are very small gaps

And then he pounces
And brings us a present
That he drops at our feet

How proud he is of his featDirty Rat

At least you cat does not eat the mice, mine love to eat the tails off of the lizards that they catch.

    Well done Puss!
The cat from my childhood was a ratter, and would line up his catches on the back step, clean, and unbloodied. One got the better of him though, a bite that healed on the outside but not within. One way trip I’m afraid.

Awww x we don’t have a backyard, but our cat kills the spiders in our apartment, while me and my boyfriend scream and take shelter in the corner.

That’s a scary looking cat. No offence, but not a cat person.

I had a Norwich terrier who hunted mice. She would pile them by my desk near my computer. That way, I wouldn’t run out of meat during the winter, you see.
