A number of you who have been participating in my daily Fandango’s One-Word Challenge have commented that your pingbacks today aren’t working. Actually, they are, but for some reason, they’re not appearing in the comments section until 2-3 minutes after your comment informing me that they’re not showing up.
I don’t know why this is suddenly happening, since I don’t moderate either comments or pingbacks. But I just want to let you know that your pingbacks do eventually get posted, but just not immediately. Again, I have no clue why there is this several minute delay.
So you can be patient and feel fairly confident that your pingback will eventually show up. Or, if you have an OCD personality (like I do), you can send me a comment with a link to your post. Either way, I’ll get it and will read your post.
And, again, thank you all for participating in Fandango’s One-Word Challenge.
This, That, and the Other 
In my case (and Judy’s too, I think), they folded the comments so there were the current comments showing, but our comments were later and you had to click on something for “later comments.” Unless you intentionally limited the number of comments that can appear, you might go and fix it. It probably got weird during whatever their last “upgrade” was.

I don’t limit the number of comments on my posts and have never seen anything that says “later comments” to click on. This seems to be something that just started happening, because I got at least half a dozen comments today from people saying their pingbacks weren’t working.

I often get on the second page of your comments. It looks like it is not so easy running one of these Daily Challenges, especially when it gets popular.

I don’t often get that many comments on any one post that it should get to a second page. It is a lot of work, but I so enjoy reading how people incorporate my one-word prompt (and those of others) into their posts.

I was not referring to your story posts, I meant your FOWC posts where my pingback appears in the ‘Later Comments’ or second page of your post as pointed out by Marilyn.
