Twittering Tales — Unchain Me

615B3E22-947F-40F0-8EAE-6AB4D61B0CE4You’ve got me chained to you like a dog chained to a tree. My movements restricted, my freedom removed. You watch me like a hawk, waiting for me to try to break free of my chains and run away. But I’ve got nowhere to go, no place to be, no one to see.

Please unchain me.

What a miserable place to be. Makes me think of a caged bird that stays in her cage even when the door is left open. Sometimes people stay trapped, because they are too fearful of the unknown. Thanks for giving me something to think on Fandango. 🙂

Are you channeling Mrs. Trump or Barron? 🙂

You mean if the cap fits, wear it right?

The expression I know is “if the shoe fits….” Maybe it’s different where you live.
