Michael Krista, an on-air correspondent for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, went on an assignment to interview Trump supporters at a recent Trump rally about Trump’s plan to create a Space Force.
Here is the clip of those interviews. Some might think this is funny. I find it sad and, given the blind stupidity of the Trump supporters who were interviewed, it’s downright scary.

Two of us (where I work) almost had another employee convinced that we had joined this space farce. We told him that they were hiring prior military first, and we were able to enlist online. We had him almost convinced, except we couldn’t hold our laughter in. It was funny because he wanted to know the website so that he could enlist himself.
Yes indeed, trump supporters are a sad breed.

so sad. The level of intelligence of the “Average American” must be so far beneath what I thought it was….I always assumed at least people had the equivalent of a fourth grade education. So sad to be proven wrong……….sigh

Yeah, its iTunes and NASA lies to us all cause they know the Earth is flat and hollow and the moon landing was on a Hollywood set. Trump will tell us the truth about the little green men who visit him every night and whisper sweet things into his ear.

Yeah, I have a “friend” (online acquaintance that id quickly working his way out my online door) like that. Nothing you say changes his mind. I have relatives like that as well who truly believe that Hillary and Obama need to be in jail. Can’t do anything about family except go “uh-huh”

Yeah, how strange is that? There was a time when we found their stupidity funny. Now, we know these incredibly stupid people are running the country. THAT is scary.

Scary. Period. I tried to watch the video clip, I really did. But when that poster boy for bad toupees said “yabbos”, well my breakfast threatened to come back up. I don’t need a flatulating scrotum on a body making me sick thanks. That idiot and his posse have brought us so low it amazes me that anyone is willing to admit they admire or support that thing. Thanks for an insightful post though. Gah.
