This clip from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is a great way to demonstrate the hypocrisy of the religious right. So much for “love thy neighbor as thyself.”

That really is my favorite show of the day. I have other favorites, but I’m always happy to end my day with one of his rants. I need that. It’s all horrible, but at least I get a chuckle out of it.

I’ve been a fan of Stephen Colbert from his days on the Colbert Report. I had some doubts about his transition from Comedy Central to a typical late night talk show on CBS, but he has exceeded my expectations. I never miss his show, although I DVR it and watch it the next morning, since I can’t really stay up that late anymore.

And since some people don’t really care, or those words don’t jump out at them, and Sessions sort of snickered at claiming the bible (or the book called Romans, I think) justifies the actions (which really makes no sense as we ourselves don’t recognize all governments as worthy for submission), I will share that the bible “reward” for kidnapping is death.
