FOWC with Fandango — Mirror

FOWCWelcome to June 13, 2018 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.

I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).

Today’s word is “mirror.” Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Or you can simply include a link to your post in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.

Thanks for participating. I see another blogger used the word “mirror” as a prompt today as well.

Synchronicity..It is the WP Daily prompt trying to reinstitute itself in spite of the decision of the WP mucky mucks.

Can you give me your website URL that will work for each day’s prompt? Not one geared toward one particular prompt? It takes me so long to find your day’s prompt each day because the URL I have is for June 6. And if I copy this one, it will always take me to today’s post.

Why is everything poetry? I’m not a hater of poetry, but I really like prose so much better. Could someone please write a story? No matter WHAT they said in school, I’m pretty sure the point of poetry is to not be understand and if you think you understand, you are probably missing something.

That’s pretty much the way I feel about poetry, but I’m the pragmatic type more so than the artistic type.

For some reason it didn’t post earlier. I re-posted it this afternoon.

        Thanks for the prompt!

Thanks for posting that link to a previous post! Here’s the post I put up today that I had to re-post (for some unknown reason).

You are welcome. I know these posts take a lot of work and I hate to see them go unread because of a glitch.

I finally got the post NOW … at 11pm on Wednesday, almost 24 hours after you sent it. I think I’m on WordPress’s slow boat.
