Twittering Tales — The Dream Catcher

“What is that thing?” she asked.

“It’s a dream catcher. It protects you from bad dreams and nightmares. It catches all sorts of dreams and thoughts into its webs. The good ones pass through and gently slide down the feathers to comfort you. The bad ones are caught and destroyed.”

We have one. Got it while visiting the Navajo Rez. A brave sold it to me, thinking it might help my heless cell phone. The jury is still out.

I have dream catchers all over the house. They don’t really help as much as I would like.

I’ve seen them in some of the pictures you’ve posted.

I believe they work. But that is the truth hidden in the web, isn’t it? Sometimes we need a place to send the bad thoughts and inspiration to help our dreams manifest. They work, I think, if we believe they do. 😊
