#FOWC — Attention to Detail

BF39F425-68C8-403F-8B6A-262F959ACF70“That guy is always complaining about the most picayune things,” the construction foreman said.

“Well, someone’s got to focus on the details, even the seemingly trivial ones,” his number two guy said.

“I don’t know, Keith,” the foreman said. “The guy is so down in the tiny little details that he can’t see the forest for the trees.”

“You know, boss,” Keith said, “sometimes missing those seemingly minor details can come back to bite you in the ass.”

“Yeah,” the foreman admitted. “I guess you’re right. Having someone on the job who shines the spotlight on the picayune can be a good thing.”

Written for today’s One-Word Challenge. The word is “picayune.”

The details are the necessaries once you have the big picture. Gotta have both!

I wonder if Alexander could have missed those details and conquered the world or if any medicine would work without the details of the measurement. Hell… The details are important, important. Even for criminals, that says something. If you miss them, intentionally I might add, you are Trump. (Who by the way even miss the bigger picture).
