Beyond Belief

Christian televangelist Jim Bakker has preached to his flock that Donald Trump was not cheating with Stormy Daniels on his third wife shortly after she gave birth to his fifth child. Oh no. According to Bakker, Trump was merely scheduling private time with the woman in a hotel suite in order to share with her the good news of Jesus Christ. He was concerned that she was not a good Christian.

“It is preposterous to assert that a virtuous believer like Mr. Trump,” Bakker said, “would cheat on his beautiful wife so callously, and while their child was only months old.”

Bakker explained that Trump “was so concerned with the eternal state of Miss Daniels’ soul that he scheduled some alone time with just the two of them, so he could share with her how Jesus Christ had changed his life and how He could also save her from her sins.”

(According to Stormy on her “60 Minutes” interview, she spanked his ass with a copy of Forbes Magazine on which his picture was on the cover. No doubt that act alone saved her from her immoral ways. But I digress.)

Getting back to Bakker, he further claimed that the $130,000 payment Trump arranged to have his attorney give to Daniels was to help rescue her from the destructive adult film industry and to help get her life back on track. “What a man of God Donald Trump is,” Bakker asserted.

I suppose if you actually believe every word of the Bible to be the word of God, you will believe just about anything. Good news, huh?

After publishing this post, I have learned that the article upon which I based this post came from what I now know to be a satirical website and the story is a complete fabrication. I apologize for having passed on fake news.

I look to when it comes out that good old Jim has been up to something with somebody somewhere. It’s pretty inevitable it tends to be part of the course for those fools . Then it’ll be on TV crying his eyes out and the right wing Christians will give it all of that Jesus Forgives business . Seems that when it comes to Jesus you can do pretty much whatever you want as long as you say sorry afterwards.

Yeah, that seems to be the way of the lord.

Odd isn’t that this man is so blind to the fact that Trump is the most unchristian person you could encounter. But when you are desperate you spin any story you think might be believed.

I must confess to some puzzlement. Have I got it right?? Mr Trump’s lawyer knowing that Mr Trump was only visiting the porn star to convert her, naturally wanted to support her conversion to help her leave her old sinful life. This was why the lawyer was prepared to give the new convert a huge sum of his own money and thought it unimportant to share that information with Mr Trump because US lawyers don’t normally expect their clients to pay for what a US lawyer no doubt considered to be small expenses incurred for standard acts of voluntary Christian responsibility. Second, although the rest of the world (apart from 80% of the evangelical vote) apparently misunderstood lawyer’s act of generosity, the wise and all-knowing President, secure in the belief that no-one had grounds to question the motives of his lawyer since the election campaign would not have been negatively affected by such a nobly justified visit to a porn star, choose to be humble and wait for some months until the truth emerged of its own accord with only incidental assistance from Jim Bakker whose name has triggered memories.

LOL…I feel a little bad for you having taken the time to write and post something that, as it turns out – ironically, is FAKE-NEWS but, well, I got a laugh out of it. I will state though, I am glad it is fake. Not much surprises me but that would have been a little bit more depressing if it was TRUE-NEWS.

Thanks. From now on I’ll definitely double-confirm my sources before hitting publish. I think I fell for this because in this era of Trump, it actually sounded plausible.

“The scene is memory and is therefore nonrealistic. Memory takes a lot of poetic license. It omits some details; others are exaggerated, according to the emotional value of the articles it touches, for memory is seated predominantly in the heart” – Tennessee Williams
“Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually, they will believe it.”    – Adolf Hitler
