WPC — I’d Rather Be Exploring

For this week’s Photo Challenge, the idea is to show, in pictures, something I’d rather be doing.

I love exploring the natural wonders of America’s National Parks. So if there is something I’d rather be doing right now, besides worrying about how Trump’s Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke, is going to open up those National Parks to drilling, logging, and other industrial development, it would be exploring some of those National Parks, like Arches National Park in Utah, pictured below.

What wonderful places. I really hope Trump doesn’t get his way. We need wild, protected places

It was easy because it’s such a beautiful place, like all of our National Parks are.

Martha Kennedy (another blogger) wrote a book about hiking with her dogs. In it, she wrote about visiting the Arches National Park (bit romantic really). So it was nice to see your photos of this place. It is spectacular.. I can quite imagine why you would be rather be exploring those landscapes.

It is an amazing place, as are most of the National Parks. I’ve been to quite a few, and I hope, before I die, to see them all.
