Welcome to the Scrum

The goal of scrum is to deliver new software capabilities every two to four weeks. It is one of the approaches that influenced the Agile Manifesto, which articulates a set of values and principles to guide decisions on how to develop higher-quality software faster.”

Hank stood up and started to leave the room. “Excuse me,” said the scrum team leader. “Where are you going?”

“I think I’m in the wrong place,” Hank said.

“Didn’t you volunteer to be on our scrum team?”

“Yes,” Hank said. “But when I saw the notice about scrum team volunteers, I thought it was for the company’s rugby team.”

Written for today’s one-word prompt, “agile.”
