“Excuse me, ma’am, but you’re not allowed to go wading in the lake,” the bellhop yelled.
“Isn’t this the most beautiful view you have ever seen?” the woman standing in water that almost reached her knees said.
“Yes, it is beautiful,’ the man agreed. “But you can’t just walk out into the water. If you’d like, I can arrange for a paddle boat.”
“That won’t be necessary, but thank you,” she said, and continued walking into the lake.
“But ma’am,” the man objected.
“Young man,” she said. “I’m dying and this is the only way I will ever see heaven.”
