A Visual Earworm

0ECFFCD0-7EE7-40AC-977B-713D9577F5EBWhat can I say? When I saw that today’s one-word prompt was “undulate,” all that came to mind was the way a lap dancer moves. Not that I have ever personally had a lap dance. But, you know, what I’ve seen on TV or in movies….

So I tried to clear my head of further thoughts of lap dancers and tried as hard as I could to visualize a snake undulating across the surface of the ground.

But lap dancers.

Then I thought of the undulating motion of amber waves of grain in the wind. Very patriotic, right?

But lap dancers.

And then I tried to visualize how skipping a stone across the surface of the water on a calm lake causes the water to undulate.

But lap dancers.

Sorry.  I got nothing but undulating lap dancers on my mind today. It’s like an earworm, a song that you can’t seem to get out of your head. But it’s a visual earworm.

Well, there ARE also snakes. And alligators … and their best cuz, crocodiles. And we have some pretty slimy, undulating political leaders, too who have distinctive snake-like characteristics. Just saying, dude.

You need to go out to a strip club for your next birthday. I would be happy to buy you a lap dance.

You do know Sensei that our minds always seek the pleasure in ‘biting the forbidden fruit’. Just so we’re clear I have, like you only seen the dance through media outlets…
