“That’s brilliant, just brilliant,” Mitch said sarcastically. “What were you thinking, Samantha?” he asked his wife.
“I was thinking that we need to do something to spice things up a little,” she replied. “Otherwise we’re going to end up more like housemates, two people who happen to be living under the same roof, rather than as husband and wife.”
“So you invited Charlie over for a three-way tonight? Are you crazy?”
“You didn’t let me finish,” Samantha said. “I invited Charlie and his new girlfriend over for a four-way.”
Mitch thought for a moment, recalling having met Charlie’s new girlfriend a few weeks earlier. “She’s smokin’ hot,” he said to Samantha.
“Brilliant, right?” she replied.
Written for today’s one-word prompt, “brilliant.”
Bridge anyone? 🙂

The 1969 film “Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice” aside, I can’t see this ending well.

Oh how I miss playing bridge. I LOVED playing bridge. And here I am, married to the only Marine who can’t tell a club from a diamond.
