Today’s Just Jot It January prompt from Linda G. Hill was suggested by fellow blogger and author Cage Dunn. The word Cage chose is “memories,” which, as I’ve gotten older, seem to be fading rapidly.
But I do remember a 1955 song from crooner Dean Martin titled “Memories Are Made of This.” If you are too young to have ever heard the song, or too old to remember it, here it is:

I think you may be thinking of “Sweet Dreams Are Made of This” by the Eurhythmics, another great song.

So glad I clicked the Deanno link. I remember his TV show from when I was a kid and of course the Martin and Lewis movies. He had such a rich voice, eh?

I was upset when he and Jerry Lewis split, but he was a good entertainer in his own right.
