One-Liner Wednesday — What a Crock

“You can distinguish an alligator from a crocodile by paying attention to whether the animal sees you later or after a while.”

I don’t know who said this, but when I read it, it cracked me up. Bigly!

Written for this week’s One-Liner Wednesday prompt from Linda G. Hill.

I can’t distinguish them. I’m happy to be able to run faster than they do, but I’m not sure I can do that either.

They can be pretty nimble but I don’t think they can jump very high.

I think the general public think they are slow. I would never take the chance. Reminds me of visiting a drive-through animal park. It was shut down on the day we tried to enter because someone was frying bacon with open windows and screen door in an rv. Lioness attacked and was waylaid by a grandma. But stupidity abounds.

The scent of bacon is sometimes better than the taste, I think.

Odd you should say that. I find that true with a lot of things. I think it’s because I remembered them as being so much better than they really were.
