Rory, aka A Guy Called Bloke, has asked yet another series of thought provoking questions.
When was the last time you tried something new?
On Sunday when I went to a vegan Chinese restaurant and had Orange “Chicken” made with batter-fried soy protein (instead of chicken) cooked in sweet and sour orange sauce. It was actually quite good.
Do you ever get excited about happiness?
Yes, especially when I’m happy and excited.
Do you question enough or simply accept everything? As in if l said Jump – would you say no or how high or why?
I rarely accept things on face value. I want to know the source of the information and look for multiple sources for confirmation.
What is your preferred blog reading style – do you like light hearted, emotional and heart-felt, comedy, learning about things, philosophy, something that you bite into and guage some depth from … what?
Yes.
What belief do many people you know hold onto, that you yourself cannot believe under any circumstance?
That God or some other supernatural deity exists.
When was the last time you were excited about life, what were you doing or had experienced to make you feel this way?
When we moved to San Francisco a decade ago and I didn’t have to deal with snow in the winter. Woo hoo!
Is happiness just a myth do you think?
No, it’s not a myth. We can all feel genuine happiness, but it’s often fleeting.
When life is all said and done, will you have said more or done more?
I will either have said more than I will have done, or I will have done more than I will have said. Either way, it doesn’t matter because when life is all said and done, I’ll be dead.
Reading something new? Every blog post contains something new, like this one of yours.
I agree with you about happiness that it is fleeting and we search for it constantly, but because we are mortal beings subjected to issues of greed and what have you, it continues to allude us.
If you said jump I’d tend to ask why? Then again when I was married it might have been a ‘how high’ just to remain in survival mode.
I think moving away from snow would be a great thing, it’s nice to see it and play a little but going home to warmer climes is always welcomed.
I think at the end when it’s a matter of said or done I think its a matter of being content with what you might have said and done, unfortunately, we can’t change what we said or did so whatever we did, stuff ups and or achievements they become part of us, forever.

Ha ha superb, l had to hunt this post down my friend. I saw it briefly in my comments directory, then WP whisked or is it whipped it away from me, totally worth the hunt down as usual though – masterfully done good sir 🙂

The case of the disappearing posts. Strange.

Very much so Fandango, but it’s something l am seeing a lot of bloggers comment about of late.

I have huge gaps in my Reader on my iPhone app every morning, where hours worth of posts that came in overnight seem to have fallen into some sort of black hole.

Yes exactly, l have that as well, some disappear literally as l am scrolling up the feeder. Every day l tend to ‘now’ start scrolling from the very last comment to the most recent, as they have a habit of literally vanishing off the feed so l try and catch them before they go.
I can no longer rely upon the spam filter. The troll who did the damage l think has been deleted, but they no longer drop their damn spams BUT they dropped thousands on me whilst they were active, and now slowly they are being eradicated every week, by the very nature of WP destroying them.
I occasionally catch a couple in my ‘pending folder’, but mostly, l now go through all the posts of the previous day and catch up that way.
Luckily l don’t use the post directory to view, and spend most of my time on the actual blog home page, so it’s easy to capture them – BUT if l go to bed, l can’t stop some of the comments disappearing, it can be very frustrating – because occasionally some writers think you are ignoring them.

Reblogged this on A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip! and commented:
Ask Fandango and he will answer he is pretty much a yes except when he is a no, unless of course he is dead! I know, l know, it does sound exactly like another episode of Soap!

Good answers, I especially like you favorite type of blog to read – “yes.” I could never pick a favorite type. I think that is one of the reasons I love Word Press; all the variety of subjects and styles.
